For this tutorial you will need:

I used PSP X2, but any version of PSP will do
Something Simple kit by Ali
This a PTU kit which you can buy at StarGazers Scraps
I'm sure you can find items similar if you d not wish to purchase this kit
Muras Meister - Copies
PSP's own textures

I used the awesome work of Barbara Jensen, who is a licensed artist.
Visit Barbara's site for more information on licensing.
Please do not use Barbara's work unless you have a license to do so

LETS START
Open a 800x800 Canvas
Floodfill with white

Open Ali's Scrap Kit
In the Elements Folder
Find Frame DBA Frame2
Resize to 70%
Copy/Paste
as a new layer above white base .
Hide white base for the moment till use layer on .

Also in Ali's Kit grab DBA Rose3
Open in Psp
and resize to 35%
Copy/Paste as new layer above round frame.

Go to plugins
Mura-Meister Copies
And use the settings below on rose.




Move layer Below frame
With your deform tool widen the flowers so they look something like mine




Now unhide your white base .
Bck to kit and open
DBA Leaf 2
Crop leafs so you only have 1
Resize to 40%
Copy the leaf as a new layer
Keep adding the leafs on new layers round the edges between the roses ,
Use your deform tool to rotate each leaf so it's pointing outwards.

Once happy Hide rose layer ,base and Frame and merge visable the leaves .
Unhide layers
Duplicate Rose Layer
On Original Apply Gaussian Blur
Radius 25.00
Then
Effects,Texture Effect .
Texture
Canvas Course
With these settings




Back to your frame layer
Open the tube you think will suite coming out of frame .
Copy/Paste as new layer above frame
Re-size if needed.

Ok once happy
On frame layer ,selections,select all.
Float ,then de-float.
Active Tube and delete the parts that over hang frame at base .




Selectiions again .
Select none .

Apply Slight Drop shadow to rose layer
and leaf layer .
None of the other layers.

Go back to the kit and apply
DBA Journaling1
resize to 25%.
Put in front of tube center at bottom .
Apply slight shadow and some of the other elements .
I used ribbon,heart and Butterfly

Apply Text to Journal .
I used Font Primrose JF

Merge Layers Visable
Re-size if you want now
apply copyright info.
I usually merge without the base white layer and save as PNG .
